AVI Splitter ??

Evening all,  

 

I have some multi-gigabyte  AVI files of Jupiter from my last imaging session which will not copy from my notepad due to their size......  even though the memory stick has twice the necessary space !! ??

Unless there is a simpler solution, I may need an AVI splitter programme to reduce the size.  Anybody know of a safe, reliable bit of Freeware that will do the job ?    

All the ones I have tried are "free" to download, but you pay for it to work........ great !!!!

 

As always, any suggestions gratefully recieved and appreciated.

I use Virtual Dub to edit my solar avi's.

There may be a file system conflict you need FAT32

I use Virtual dub which is a decent bit of freeware. http://www.virtualdub.org/ 

it can capture and edit AVI s plus other features.
