SGL 30s challenge !

Recommended Posts

When I saw this link.....

I thought it perfect for our video forum but on closer inspection the "30s" refers to subs and as many as you like....so whilst it still works for video your clearly in competition with AP with super long accumulated exposures too.  Nevertheless give it a go :)

What do you mean by super long accumulated exposures please in relation to the challenge?

The challenge allows you to stack as many 30 sec exposures as you like so you could have hours of data but made up from 30 sec subs hence "super long accumulated exposures"

Yes Nytecam, I though exactly the same thing. I was thinking that my mono Lodestar plus colour filters could produce some very nice images for the competition. Not sure my post processing skills are up to the job but an image exported from Starlight Live and then sharpened or whatever in Photoshop could look quite nice. Perhaps I'll get extra points with the judges for no post processing at all. :)

Hi guys - please do enter :) It would be great to see some single 30s entries and we will pay attention to this in the judging - it isn't just about who has managed to get 40 hours of data using thousands of pounds worth of kit :D
