Astronomers in Redditch Area

I'm doing a piece of work which is not primarily related to astronomy, but it gives me the opportunity to investigate the idea of a 'dark sky site' in the Redditch area. Nothing spectacular, just the possibility of an 'orion class' site, i.e. where you can see all the main stars of Orion  and therefore suitable for outreach events to engage the wider public, such as meteor watches etc.

If any forum members from the Redditch area would be happy to offer me their views on my (very tentative) thoughts, please reply and I'll send you a PM with more detail.
