qwick moon tonight, just started and the clouds bushwack me. seeing still quite good not quite as good as lastnight.

kit AR127L, 1200D. 70 frames in colour. 75 in mono, the closer ones are just crops did get time to put the ccd in .

That's very beautiful! The first version is definitely my favourite, with its beautiful, blue gradient.

I rather like daytime moon shots.   The contrast is a bit less than full night; it makes it a bit easier on the eye.  I'm impressed with those crops - such detail!

Cracking as usual charl, I just looked at the second image in full size, looks great.

All afternoon there was hardly a cloud in the sky, 17.30 the moon was hanging in a lovely blue sky by 18.30 there was 100% cloud cover which continued for the rest of the evening.

thanks Alan, its the same here tonight, ive just stole some shots through some thin bits in the cloud. I like the mono one too but my shots from the night before are much better, this ones a bit noisey close up. hope you have some clear tonight mate.  charl.
