Vixen APP TL130 Tripod

I'm looking for a lightweight tripod for a Vixen GP2. The new(ish) tripod for the AP mount https://www.firstlightoptics.com/vixen-mounts/vixen-advanced-polaris-app-tl130-tripod.html looks interesting, though it will require an adapter at extra cost. The alternative is the Berlebach 372. Both are in the 3kg weight class.

Has anyone any experience of the Vixen item?

hi neil,  i have one and its a cracking tripod  light but strong , i also need a adapter for it so i can use my gp mount and my az4 mount , i have seen the adapter somewhere but cannot find it on the web regards john.

To fit an SP or GP mount with a 60mm base to the APP TL130 requires the 75169 GP60 to 45AD adapter. It's £55 on Vixen UK's price list.
