It's here again, another year older but another opportunity to buy more Astro gear. So here's my requests (not to you, to my wife and kids, but if any of you really want to surprise me ......)

Bins - I've seen some 2nd hand for £30 but think these look good value new, and they would enhance my sessions while imagining I can lay back and gaze:

New intervelometer as mine is only a shutter release do no timings except bulb from the camera settings:

Observing chair, Possible extra request, top two are more important:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0000DH7KA/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

So, any experience of these , thoughts and comments appreciated, thanks

I've read these bins are a bit heavy to hold all the time, can anyone advise?  I would be using them to assist finding things, also general browsing around while imaging, probably stood or sat.

You might save yer missus some lolly.  I have an interval wotsit going for the cost of postage. PM me with model of camera if interested.

I recently purchased a 15x 50 binoculars similar to those you are looking for and suggest they will not be easy to hand hols.  Movement will be shaky at beast and will not be very good for meaningful observation.  I reccomend a photo tripos at the very least to ensure steady viewing.

Astronomy wise, this year, the list is settled:

Celestron 15x70 bins

Intervelometer, still deciding on wired or wireless

Annual subscription to Astronomy Now, just got this months and its cracking.
