This is the Curiosity Mars Rover, made using parts printed from NASA's colelction of 3D printable models, This is teh 'simplified' version, but i think I'll probably end up doing the more detailed/accurate version.

I'm annoyed by the white flecks - they are much more noticeeable on the photo, I'd touched up the worst ones.

They seem to form in the matt varnish as it dries - it isn't there before I spray it or just after, and I have tried leaving things to dry both inside my workshop and out in the garden, but the same dots appear. Its actually a matt 'art fixative' which is much more mat than real matt varnish, so i wonder if this is part of the problem?
