SW skyliner 200p old Or new

Should I take an old Skywatcher skyliner 200p for €200 Or a new one for ~€300-400?

the old one is black(not a flextube)

As far as I know, the Skywatcher Skyliner dobsonian non-Flextubes have always been white ?

Ar you sure that the black one is actually a Skywatcher dobsonian ?

If it's in good condition there's nothing wrong with secondhand most astronomers looked after their kit very well(OCD?).The old skyliners were white though.

Well thats the 1st one of those I've ever seen

It's certainly a Skywatcher though - sorry to have doubted it !

Looks a good scope apart from the rubber grips around the focusser knobs missing (easily rectified).

I'd be quite happy to own that for 200 Euros

Maybe someone bought a black EQ version and then decided to go dob way? Bought a base, drilled some holes and ditched the tube rings? I do have a black one 200pds. Technically it would be explorer..... Wait a second... Explorers are 1000mm f/5, not 1200... Scratching my head now..
