Watching Sky with Mosquitoes

Watching stars and Planets is enjoying but to tolerate Mosquitoes is really challenging. Never thought so much mosquitoes in dark feasting me .

I think we all have our challenges when it comes to amateur astronomy.

Sounds like plenty of DEET needed.  Could you wrap yourself up in a mosquito net?

Not that mossies are a big problem here in Ireland,but i am immune to them (at least immune to their bites). I have quite oily skin and i wear citrus scented aftershave (because it suits my skin type). Apparently mossies do not like oily skin and dislike it even more when it has a citrus smell. Ive also seen on tv that people with a certain blood type hardly ever get bitten by them or if they do get bitten.........there is no reaction. I must have that blood type. Not sure what blood type i am TBH. 

In general i am not a fan of flying insects swarming around me at any time of the day or night. House flies really get my goat up.
