Great news!

Cloudy here, and back to work :(

Thanks for the heads up Rush... lovely views here, no work and no cloud :happy8: lovely prom in the same area as Charles points out.
As it happens there are quite a few areas of prominence on the eastern side.

Thanks Rhushikesh-Canisminor for the 'heads up'. I noticed that the sunspot has been numbered 2651 although it was the previous spot 2644 coming back round. A few Proms on the Eastern side plus a few filaments on the disc. A bit of haze in Hereford so when the Sun climbs some more may get a better view through the PST.

I've just been out looking in white light and Ha (Lunt 50).

The double spot is just coming around the eastern limb at about 3 o'clock. I looks like it will be interesting in a couple of days from now. Quite a few nice proms and I'm getting ready to fire up the Quark once the sun comes around the big tree at the bottom of the garden

Aaaaaaargh!!!!

Just dropped my 2" UV/IR Cut filter on the patio and smashed it

£76 for a new one - and I noticed one on going for a song on ABS UK last night and let it go  :BangHead:

Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's off to Rother Valley Optics I go...:glasses13:

Ouch Derek, I have dropped mine before but managed to catch it.
They are very fragile to the touch yet they put up with such a pasting from the sun.
