Another Jupiter from 03/04/2017

I noticed tonight a lonely Jupe video that I hadn't processed.

Captured with the Celeston Neximage 5 Color Solar System Imager in iCap with the Celestron Nexstar 8i SCT with focal extension tubes, focal length about 2500mm.

PIPP used to get the better 4000 frames from a 3 minute video with 20% of these stacked in Autostakkert with 1.5x drizzle. Wavelets in RegiStax and finished in PaintDotNet.

Very good Dave. I see that U are using ext tubes as well. 2.5 k f/length seems to be about right with the C8.

U seem to get better results using  these , instead of a barlow , I have found. I use 2 , 80mm tubes.

I'm really struggling to get this level of detail with my C8-N and I'm wondering where the issue is. I suspect the old r&p basic focuser.

How do you get focus?

Dave that's awesome buddy, I'm still trying to get used to the asi174MM cooled plus dealing with a mono cam takes me more patience than I've had lately. Great job !
