hi

this is my first sketch . skies were bad and there was no good bright dso. so i selected M44 the beehive cluster. my sketch wont be impressive .even the stars are wierd. i only used a simple pencil and a A4 size paper.beehive0001.thumb.jpg.56953f4ebfd00403b75c8c733275c247.jpgthe stars may not be accurate.

Rajesh

The first sketch is always special.

I only started sketching with pencil on paper this year, my skills are average, but it has improved my observational skills.

You may find by sketching that your observational skill sharpens and you see more as you observe.

Keep it up and keep sharing.

Very nice first sketch Rajesh. Star clusters are not the easiest of objects to draw, but you have made a fine job.

Great start Rajesh. Not easy to do and it looks excellent to me!

Congratulation for your first nice sketch! I think the Beehive was a great choice to start with also. I recognise the cluster when I compare your sketch to my memory image, which is great.
