Apollo-type potentially hazardous asteroid (143404) 2003 BD44

(143404) 2003 BD44 is an Apollo-type potentially hazardous asteroid with a diameter of 1.3-2.9 km (the exact size is unknown). It is observable at +13.1 mag, making it one of the brightest Near Earth asteroids of the year. 2003 BD44 will come within 0.06 AU (8.3 million km) from Earth on April 18th, when it will be a very strong target for radar observations.
