Still pretty decent Simon - & factoring in your elevation I'd give them full marks...with the top image appearing very slightly better in my eyes - not that you can trust them atm!

lovely images.had a go with my 8" sct celestron with converted web cam.nothing compared to your images.but i enjoyed the session immensely.

Its been a real struggle this time around for me too, very little opportunitys to bag any decent shots, the seeings been very weak @ variable throughout the country it seems too, still a bit more time to improve, seeing on our side an all that!

A very good result considering the conditions. I also have seen promise on the capture screen and AS2! was not able to tease the detail out in recent seeing.

Theres some very fine detail around the belts wormholes Simon, I know the conditions were far from Ideal that night so very well done.

There have been a few sessions where the on screen images show promise, but the detail just won't come out in processing.

Fantaastic image! I have recently got myself a C9.25 for some planetary/lunar observation/imaging and have only had it outside a couple of times (using it with a ZWO ASI120MM) to start getting to grips with it all, but can't get anything worth keeping. I appreciate the purchase timing was bad for planets (I'm playing the long game) but was just wondering what length of video you used, and the number of frames stacked, just to get an idea of what other imagers are up to?

8" seems to give a quantum leap in resolving the smaller detail compared to my 6".
