The Moon 3 April 2017 - a couple of mosaics (one quite large!)

Recommended Posts

From last night - two mosaics.  The first is 5 panes at 900mm focal length and the second is 20 panes with a 2.5x Powermate (fl = 2250mm).  ED120APO and ASI120mm mono camera.  All panes 200/5000 frames stacked in Autostakkert and sharpened using L-R deconvolution.  A touch of sharpening to finish.

5 Pane mosaic:

Flawless. All you need now is to have it printed on to wallpaper and paper your bedroom ceiling with it so come those cloudy nights you can still lie back and observe the moon in all its glory :D
