First sunspot attempt

A first go with photographing sun spots today. They have been few and far between recently ( come to think of it, so has the sun! Too many clouds!)....unfortunately an annoying layer of cirrus cloud means that the focus is 'soft' ......otherwise I'm quite happy with my first effort ......  skywatcher 127 maksutov-cassegrain, canon 1000d at prime focus, iso100, 1/500sec x5 lights stacked in Lynkeos.

Very nice indeed Mr Williams  I saw this group of spots through the Quark yesterday and boy did the look great.

Thanks ? I have just been checking out your quark chromosphere (a new one on me!) on google.....that looks like a very nifty bit of gear !!
