Need help in astroart

Hi sgl 

I've downloaded trial of Astroart on my pc. 

I wanted to stack my dslr raw images. 

I selected auto aline. 

I put in 26 light frames of my old orion widefield data. 

I don't know much about ap actually 

The images did not align and I got a monochrome image. 

I don't know how to make it color again and can't find videos. 

Can you'll tell me the proper routine?

You are using the wrong function. Auto align will just align all the individual frames and not stack them.

You want to go to "tools" "pre processing" where you can enter all your lights and calibration frames and then stack.

Tutorials are easy enough to find, just google "astroart tutorials" you will find a few including a vid on youtube.

Under tools/preprocessing/ options - select the Auto alignment button. The pop up screen then allows you to select "star pattern (translation+rotation)"

(I use the "spectrum" setting for my spectral images)
