geordie85
Hi I was one of the lucky ones last year who managed to get their hands on the Es Reid checked and recollimated star 71 scopes and I've been rather happy with it so far. The other day, just out of pure curiosity, I decided to stretch my master flat to see what it was like. I had abit of vignetting at the top but that was all so I downloaded the trial version of CCDinspector. As it turns out I have a bit of tilt on the go. I've heard the star 71 has built in tilt adjusters but I'm not 100% where they are, I think I know but don't want to start turning screws in unsure about. Any advice/tutorials you guys can supply would be great and if your feeling generous enough to add pictures, that'd be fantastic. Thanks in advance. here is a screenshot of the CCDinspector "hill" on my "flat field"

Paul73
This one might be best on the Imaging thread? @moderator I was thinking that this thread might be about getting nice low observing horizons.? Sorry that I can't help. Paul
