gonzostar
Hi first image with new scope last night A mixture of 3,4, even a couple of 5 min subs (including darks, bias) with a 450d unmodded camera Stacked in DSS and initial process in gimp. Will try photoshop at work this week Total duration 67 mins Let me get my excuses in. There was lot of gusts of wind and i think the autoguider was a little loose. Also i think balance was slightly off Anyway i dont think its to bad with this first attempt with new scope Thanks for looking Dean
geordie85
It's always nice to start playing with a new toy. Nice image though guiding seems to have suffered a tad as there's slight trails.
gonzostar
Guiding and processing are suffering at moment. I lost a few subs as sudden gusts of wind kept catching me of guard!
gonzostar
The photoshop version.

assouptro
It pops out more in the last one but I think I can see more contrast and detail in the galaxy in the first one? Having said that, it's a good capture
