T7 Astro camera

Hi, for guiding duties I bought a T7M mono camera direct from china. It cost £80 which I think is really good value.

It sports a 1.25" shell very similar to a QHY5-II and inside it is seemingly identical to a ZWO ASI120MM, it even uses the same drivers.

My question is regarding the screw thread on it, the product description decribes it as C-Mount, C mount to me is 1" diameter whereas this camera has 1 1/8" / 29mm diameter.

It seems like basically the inside of the 1.25" shell has been threaded.

 

Can anyone shed any light on this? Ideally I'm after an adaptor to go to female T2.

Sounds like a 1.25" filter thread....there should be adapters available..

Now to find an an adaptor.

Male 1.25" filter thread (M28.5?) to female t2 (M42 x 0.75)

If anyone is interested, adaptors do exist. I ordered one from agena in the states.
