Venus at 1.9% illumination

I had the chance today to observe Venus at mid afternoon in a bright blue sky. Blocking the Sun from view using a garage building I swept the sky with binoculars until I found the planet. Then I used paulastro's Tak FC100DL to make the attached sketch.

Hello Mike,

You can`t be that far from observing the "ring of fire" effect, if it`s safe enough to observe Venus so close to the Sun
