My first images of Jupiter this season, mixed conditions last night but improved with higher elevation!

Wow,  the detail is just amazing considering it is taken by a terrestrial telescope in what is effectively an atmospheric soup of turbulence and aberrations.

Any special technique or detail enhancing magic  ??

A lovely trio of images Simon, some nice resolution especially in the middle image. they are a fine start for this season!

They are really good. I had a go two nights ago but I chucked all the captures away the seeing was so bad (or my technique). Did you use an ADC?

Hi Chris

I found the conditions only average at best & had to push the processing beyond my comfort zone to be honest to get anything reasonable!

I did not use my ADC, in mono imaging I don't tend to see much benefit at all, maybe tightens the blue channel up a touch!
