M45 at dusk

M45 is surprisingly beautiful at dusk. Just been setting up the 100ED and while waiting for it to get properly dark I swung over to M45. With the 30mm wide angle ES eyepiece it fills the FOV and the various magnitude jewels look stunning against a blue velvet sky.

I got home with my boys and was pointing a few bright stars out at dusk when they asked about m45. I only saw it after they pointed it out and asked about it and even then I could barely see it!
