September widefield, Cygnus+Lyra

Here's a widefield I took last September when visiting the inlaws farm in Northern Ireland last year (wonderful darksky site in the Sperrin Mountains), Canon 350D with standard lens,6min exp, 800asa, sat on a driven EQ1 mount (the camera that is not me :shock:).

Pretty dark skies in that part of the Provence, better than on the other side of Lough Neagh.

Superb image Alan. I remember seeing it in S@N but never realised it was your image.

The EQ1 works well as a camera platform. Looking forward to using mine for Milkyway shots this summer.
