Something from the south...

The Carina nebula is coming up again in the evenings. Since it is one of my favorite objects, it's hard to resist to take another few shots each year. The total exposure time is 43 x 5min ISO 1600.

Lovely image. One of my favourites as well.  Sadly I only get to enjoy it when I travel south for Stargazing.  Fortunately the next trip to Africa is only a few months away!

Very good HJ.

Hope you don't mind the comment, the background sky is quite tinted blue/mauve, needs some neutralising.  This will better display the nebula.
