Not used this set up before but I need a fix.

Grabbed a wobbly 150 frames... with the 72mm... fingers crossed everyone!

Thanks Jules.. wouldn't stay up to late for it though.. they're not stacking particularly well in either registax or AS.. could be a bad batch.. still interesting to attempt it with the light weight tripod, pan plate and ball head combo..

Here's a single cropped frame and a wide frame moon Venus with 18mm on the dslr..

 

Glad you got out with the 120ed and giro.. I didn't get chance to get the anything out other than the 72mm for 20 mins.. even visually I could tell their was a bit of frost up there and the clouds were due any minute..

Mucky and it's supposed to rain any minute now..

Now that is too Kind fellow Fozz..  

I have, after numerous attempts, decided that the rubbish focus and spirograph result of stacking that this imaging run, was indeed garbage.  However it was also strangly rewarding in the sense that i managed to do something!!

tonight looks clear..

might give it another go..
