Comet Encke - Heads UP

It's a lovely spring afternoon, perhaps a chance to see Comet Encke this evening.  It's brightened a lot, could be around 7th mag. tonight. It's a fairly easy target in a telescope and could be visible in a good pair of 15x70. It's about 10 degrees below Venus,  probably the best time would be around 7ish as it starting to get dark and not to low.  Nice to see a familiar old friend !

Spring, you say?. Granted, today was bright and sunny. The temp didnt get above 5C. I was chilled to the bone (wearing 3 layers).
