Can't see the wood for the trees!

Or something like that anyway! ;)

After another slow day I decided to get all my scopes and mounts out (not including the three scopes up in my loft either for obvious reasons). Good job I don't have anyone to nag at me for the lack of space, as these babies are spread out in my two spare rooms downstairs, along with my EPs, binos, and other asssorted Astro stuff! Hehe!

Got another mount coming soon too early next month (Vixen Porta), which will be used for my ST120 and ED80 DS-Pro mostly. The Skytee II is definitely for the SW Explorer 200 P-DS and the Altair Astro Starwave 102mm.

Anyway, back to staring at the clouds again! ;)

My 100ED/AZ4 is currently parked in  our Lounge (front room, sitting room, call it what you will) and fortunately my good lady  views it as a piece of modern sculpture, I think, and so it is.  I am, however,  very (very) sure that having a sculpture park like yours Gus ,beautiful as it is, might be asking a tad too much.

Most of the scopes are in my spare room downstairs, so well out of the way. I keep the Skytee mount with two scopes on it in the dining room which currently has no table in so no problems there as using it as what it intended for. I'm sure if I ever do get married again and have a good lady again then it may become an issue! Hehe! ;)

Just make sure that the good lady is an astronomer. Inviting a prospective to "come home and see my telescopes" should sort it out one way or another. If you see a glint in her eye then you could be onto something good!

How many scopes! - Blimey that's a collection, very nice.
Good to see the refractors win out :icon_biggrin:

Yes, I prefer frac's to newts really, however the 200P-DS does give some great views. I plan to whittle the scopes down eventually to perhaps four maximum, so just awaiting some clear nights at some point this year so I can evaluate which are the best for what I want to view with etc. :)
