lovely moon tonight with good seeing, I watch it rise from my obsyroom window.

kit ed80 for wide and AR127L for large and 1200d. no barlows or filters where harmed taking these pics.

Beautiful image, Charl. Sorry you missed the slight shadow. I posted a video of it at the peak. You can see a deeper dimming on the northern limb near the umbra. It was quite the show!

That shows s latge amount of liberation. Look where Crisium is relative to the edge, and then look the other side where the mare is almost at the edge. 

Nice crisp image !

I think it's because it was full early hours of the 11th wasn't it which is the same 'lunar day' as we see it as the evening of the 10th

thanks John, I'm going by my s@n calander, it would be handy if thay would put a time for it, but the s@n caters for mainly scientists nowa days, gone are the days when it used to be for us skywatchers. hope you have clear. charl.
