My first trip to an 'almost' dark site!

Well it looks like through a stroke of luck I am heading to a fairly dark site at the end of April! My friends have been climbing all the wainwrights and have invited us all to join them for the final one at the end of April.

Turns out the campsite we are staying at is pretty dark!! Time to pack up the camera, maybe the scope as well... Or I may just get a tracking mount for the camera and go the lightweight route :)

This is where we are staying though so I should be able to get some pretty good shots as long as the skies are clear! It is the lake district though so it will most likely be cloudy and rainy ;) haha
