Thanks Shane, I had just come in from observing the moon, but at high power so I didn't see the occultation coming.

I sat down, read your post, legged it back out side and just had time to pan over to it, refocus, then ten seconds later it popped out of sight! Good job I didn't switch eyepiece or I would have missed it. It would have looked better at lower power perhaps, but quite amazing to see it disappear with nothing but blackness in the rest of the field.

Sounds great Shane. I was playing around at x125 with the OMC140 at the time, would have been better lower but no time to switch!
