First chance to do any observing/imaging in ages - sky was nice and clear, although the moon started to intrude towards the end of the evening.

M27 - my 2nd attempt at this object - the first was almost a year ago and this is much better I think.

Canon 350d (unmodded), Celestron C8-N, EQ5.

Stack of 36x10s, 24x15s, 13x20s for a total of 73 subs, 16mins 15secs. The full moon and lack of LP filter on my new scope unfortunately restrict the maximum sub length.

nice pic though mate even with those limitations.

i saw it with my eyes for first time other night when i was out but it kinda appeared as a large faint fuzzy shape. think i may need a UHC filetr to bring out the apple core.
