I'm working on a dedicated-thread on this topic - but until I have time to finish it - here's quick note:

The International Astronomical Union (IAU) Minor Planet Center offers a new service: They'll send you a daily email on Earth-Crosser asteroids coming by to pay us a visit. Take a look if you like:


And a subscription is free - naturally. I enjoy my daily minor panic!
