Are the Skywatcher AZ-EQ6 GT and Orion Atlas Pro AZ/EQ-G The same mount?

It looks as though the Skywatcher AZ-EQ6 GT and Orion Atlas Pro AZ/EQ-G are identical mounts (except color) but the Skywatcher is $2,500 and the Orion is $1,900. Are they really identical mounts sold under different brands at different prices?

Yes, they are the same mount. Many of Synta's (Skywatcher) products are sold in the US under the Orion brand name.

Wow! And $600 difference in price for the same mount! I think I'll save the $600 and get the Orion.
