IC 443 Jellyfish Nebula Bicolor

Recommended Posts

I've had this data for a while, but it's basically been gathering dust as i wasn't really happy with it. However as there is nothing but clouds in sight, i decided to give it a try anyway.
It's a bit of a mix, as the Ha data is captured with an unmodified Canon 550D on the Explorer 200 (1000mm F/5) and the OIII data is captures with the QHY5L-II-M on a 135mm F/3.5 lens.

Especially considering the poor OIII data i'm quite pleased with how it ended up, but i will for sure come back to this target at a later time. :)

Ha: 17x 10 min exposure at ISO 6400, only red channel used.
OIII: 131x 2 min exposure at gain 100.
