Venus in daytime

Just been outside and with the sky finally clear I thought I'd try finding Venus in broad daylight. I've seen her just before sunset, and followed her through sunrise, but decided to try real daytime. Having estimated the oath based on where Venus is at dusk, and hidden the Sun behind a wall, I looked around- and there she was! Very easy to see, as long as you get the right area. I found it easiest to line Venus up with a tree/chimney/pole etc then I could find her time and again.
