Hello from Sunderland

Hi,

 

Thought it was time I stopped lurking and said hi, and thanks for the great forum. I fall in to the category of massive space geek but very little telescope experience but looking to build this in to a life long hobby, current telescope (wanna be) not withstanding.

 

I am the proud (read ashamed and infuriated) owner of an Argos special but looking to upgrade to a real setup soon so will be annoying many people on here with questions so be warned

Most of the named objects in the sky were discovered using very basic scopes but with the advantage of dark skies.

Go to a dark sky site and you have an instant and free upgrade .
