Hello from Virginia, USA

Hello,

My name is Michael, 33 years old and currently living in Richmond, Virginia. New to the forum and new to astronomy. I am reading a lot lately to figure out which will be my first telescope and accessories. My interest for the moment and after a few weeks of research is going to the Orion SkyQuest XT10i dobsonian.

Looking forward to learning more about all the beautiful things to look at in the sky by reading all the interesting topics that have been developed on this forum...

I just took a look at it on the Orion website. I was ready to toss you a link to look into RACI Finder-Scopes. I was happily amazed to see it comes with an RACI 90° 9 X 50mm Finder-Scope!

John Dobson thought 10 inches is the minimal worthwhile diameter for a deep-sky scope. (seems large to me as a minimum but the master's opinion is the master's opinion)
