Swoop1
I am sure I have seen mentions about the forum and also posted results of taking images of the moon through telescope eyepieces, with hand held DSLR without the lens. I tried this last night having failed miserably to get a good enough perspective with the lens fitted. I managed to get a good image in live view but, when I pressed the shutter release, the camera wouldn't fire. Instead I got a message on the screen- No lens fitted. shutter locked. Is anyone aware of a way of disabling this feature on the Alpha? Thanks all.

Dave Lloyd
Try it in manual mode. Mine works without a lens attached when set to manual.
