Hi all,

Just acquired my first telescope after months of reading up on scopes and debating with myself if this was just another spark of an idea or something worth pursuing.

Finally settled on a Skywatcher Explorer 150p on an EQ3-2 mount.

Got my scope and copy of Turn Left at Orion last week, and I am so excited,  my wife thinks I'm nuts!

Only two short sessions looking at the moon so far (terrible weather!) ,  but it was amazing!

Loving this site as well,  so much good to read.
