M42 - how could I resist

So, I'm still getting a feel for this imaging lark.   I really like looking at M42 (and it's easy to find ) so I can't resist trying to get photos.   On my old EQ2, I could only get a streaky mess.   Imaging my pleasure at getting 14 reasonable pics (about half were dead-on and half were slightly oval stars)   I have a theory that Orion is near the celestial equator and therefore very demanding of accurate RA tracking.  My new EQ3 Pro seems to work reasonably well here.

14x 25s Sony A6000 ISO1600 150PDS EQ3Pro DSS, Startools and Lightroom for finishing touches.

More practice to follow!  I wish those clouds would just go away!

Looks great. More subs will get help the noise down. The target is bright enough for short exposures to work.
