Hi, I'm a basic newbie to the new technology of astronomy, back in the mid 90's I spent quite a bit of time watching and searching the night sky, even had a Thousand Oaks solar filter to gaze at the sun.

Now the incredible leap forward in equipment has me hooked again, looking forward to meeting everybody and will help where I can.

I came here to join after reading a very long thread about eyepiece cases, incredible!

hi,from me. I've just got started too. I'm just waiting for my delivery of the Orion 20x80 bins...i don't have a tripod or mount just yet,but I'm on it! My budget isn't very good,but I'll get those photons if it kills me!
