Jupiter - finally

jump up out of bed at stupid o clock this morning when I saw Jupiter. had about a two minute window when set up and got the quickest of looks and got to see Jupiter and three of its moons when the clouds got in the way. when I finished I noticed I was using the wrong eye piece. I would still consider this a result for a newbie

Well done! Its a great view, once you get a few hours of viewing on Jupiter you will be very surprised at what you witness.  Its an undeniably brilliant target.
