After reading a few threads for beginners and seeing various recommendations, I've just ordered my copy of the revised Turn left at Orion, and it's arriving tomorrow. Can't wait!

I ordered mine second hand in November and it arrived today.

It's from 1989 and looks like something from another age-a treasured book on your grandfather's shelves. It's even got a list of all worldwide lunar eclipses from 1989 to 2000. If only there was a way of finding more up to date information on lunar eclipses.

It's in excellent condition and a real thing of beauty. I'm going to wash my hands before I read it.
