Tiny but with some hints of detail

Managed a sketch of Mars which although small is quite high in the sky as it follows Venus.

Compared fairly well with Calsky given the current angular dimensions (5.78 arc seconds)

Nice Shane. It's tough to spot any detail with Mars sub-6 arc second apparent diameter

Indeed John.  not much more than the distance between the two main components of Castor!

Very nice Shane! I got to it a bit too late tonight when it was too low, but you've done really well!

That's about what I saw earlier Shane, during very fleeting moments of better seeing. I was using a 4" Apo and 4.5mm Delos at around 140X. Did try with my 2X powermate but there was nothing extra to be had in that scope.

Did you have a go at Neptune too? Getting really close to Mars now.
