Crab Nebula in HA after NEQ6 belt mod

Hi Folks,

Just had my NEQ6 serviced and fitted with a Rowan belt mod by Graham at Atrotec, and a marvellous job he's done too. Really smooth, no clattering noises, and great tracking.

This is my first outing with it. 40 x 10 minute exposures of M1 in HA, 200 f/5 Newtonian, Atik 428EX, with three colour variations taken from an earlier HA/OIII capture. Conventional colours top right, slightly more unconventional bottom left and bottom right. Probably oversampled at about 1" per pixel.

Wow, those are beautiful captures Luke. Graham at Astrotec also gets a mention in the post I've just put up, he also did the belt mod on my NEQ6 before I moved onto a EQ8. A great bloke and a genius mechanic.
