Hey guys, maybe I am slow but I find the instructions hard to follow and very vague.

Right now I want to try as a guider but not sure if I am hooking it up right .

I have a CGEM mount and I plug the wire into the mount where it says guider and the other end into the camera but am I using the right plug ? Is it the one on the top of camera or on the bottom.

I am using the one on top but as soon as I plug in the scope starts to slew very slowly but it is moving. I really dont know what I am doing wrong and I am finding very little help online. I have taken great images in planetary but getting crap in deep sky and visual enhancement   . Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Steve,

I don't know the mount or the camera, but cable between the camera and mount is usually a six way RJ11\RJ12 connector, not the usual four way....

The camera has two sockets. The USB port on the camera plugs into a USB port on your laptop (USB cable) and the other port (guide port) on the camera is connected to the guide port on the mount using a ST4 cable.
