Thanks Neil - it was a really enjoyable evening. Love getting out with the WADAS gang :)

Had a quick 1/2 hour last night in the garden with the camera pointed at Cassiopeia

Hi

whats the weather forecast for tonight at Dunford bridge

Looks like there is a good chance of some clear skies - checked a couple of forecasts.

I need to clear it with the wife, but I'll be up for a trip out there (as long as i can find a way around the Woodhead Pass)

Ah yes, I remember seeing your image last week. Nice pinpoint stars Neil. It looks like the season is underway again!

Count me in for tonight if it is clear (as it is currently very cloudy over Wakefield). I have got a pass as Terry is off to his brothers and Sophie is going to bed early as she's working all weekend and up at 6am. I've just got to promise to be home before she needs the car in the morning LOL.

So, keep us posted on the forecast and I'll hopefully see some of you there tonight.

Small car park again?

P.s. I've only just recovered from the midge bites after last time........

I'm going to be there about 10ish - small car park (is that the one by the boat club?) again

Yes, that's the one. Have you got an up to date weather forecast? I've only looked at Metcheck but it's showing 28% cloud at 10pm going up to 31% by midnight.

http://www.meteoearth.com/#/,-1.46,53.38,47.13,8,1,1,0,0,0,time=1503792453 - has a break in the clouds around reasonable viewing time

Clear outside is green: http://clearoutside.com/forecast/53.52/-1.77

https://www.forecast.co.uk/cloud/ - break in the clouds

BBC is clear: http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2650731

Met office is clear: http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gcwb0j8y3

I'm going for it :D

Hmmm... clear from 8.50 to 10.50... rest of the time there’s a thin veil of cloud that meteoearth.com doesn’t show up brilliantly once it flips to darkness (cog in top right corner lets you turn dark/light views off and fix it to light view only, then you can see it).

Plus I still haven’t replaced my inverter, so I shall be on the sofa in front of the TV I’m afraid!
