First ever venus attempt

Nothing much, can't get much with the equipment i have. I could do with a variable polarizing filter of such to reduce the overall brightness and glare of venus as it is just a blob of light. CC is very welcome and I would love some handy tips for Venus.

Hi Yamez,

Not bad for a first time image, Venus might be the brightest object outside the sun and moon, but its by no means easy to image.

Looks like your image is a bit overexposed, if you up the shutter speed than you will see the edge of the planet much better at focus. Also if you use a IR filter, than you will cut through a lot of atmospheric distortion for a more stable picture.
