Celestron 127 Eq

Hello, I have a Celestron 127 Eq telescope which I bought from a friend in very good condition. With tripod and slow motion controls etc. However there are no eyepieces included. I have no experience about astronomy or telescopes I know the scope is supplied with the 4mm and 20mm Plossl eyepieces. There is an extending barrel with a thread which is slightly larger than 1.25". Do any eyepieces screw into this thread? I will include pictures many thanks.

when you say extending barrel with thread do you mean the focus tube with the 2 finger wheels fitted to scope? if so then this is where the eyepiece`s fit, and you will need to get a couple of EP`s  First light optics sell skywatcher plossl`s, get a 25mm and one about 9 or 10mm

The thread on the end is probably a T2 thread for fitting cameras to the scope.

The eyepiece will slot inside rather than screw on.
